kyle petty will be behind the wheel tomorrow of the #1 chevrolet when the green flag drops. since kenny and harvick are still in memphis trying to protect their current point situations, that leaves their winston cup cars with out drivers. so even though kyle didn't make the field in his #45 dodge, he will sub for kenny this weekend in the pennzoil machine. for a full report click here. 10/13/01
according to totally nascar, park will be back in the #1 pennzoil chevrolet by daytona. 10/3/01
kenny finishes 17th at kansas. kenny had a realitivly good day. at the finish, he was the first car a lap down. he now had his best finish with the pennzoil team this year. this is unfortunaltly 17th, he has many times had a very good car, only problems elsewhere have set him back and caused him to have bad finishes. park has moved back one position, 17th, in points. race results. 10/1/01

kenny finishes 22nd in the mbna cal ripken jr 400 at dover. he started out the day being shuffled back a couple spaces and hung out around the 13th place for a while. the pennzoil team then had a great pit stop, they got him out in 4th place. but all of a sudden kenny started to fell a vibration and came down pit road to see if they could figure out what had happend. he ended up finishing the race 3 laps down to the leader. eventhough he didn't lead a lap, he spent 100 laps in the top 10. park has now dropped to 16th in drivers points. full resutls. 9/23/01 for past articles click here � 2001 little e fans online. this site is not affiliated with steve park or nascar. site born 9/1/01 |
